　Mixed-Lipid Powders of Phospholipid and Cholesterol

The EXTRASOME^® M Series are mixed-lipid powders of phospholipids and cholesterol that are based on novel NOF technologies. Unlike other phospholipid products that are difficult to wet, our product wets out easily. Therefore, with the EXTRASOME^® M Series it is easy to produce liposome and o/w emulsion formulations by using only a homogenizing mixer or a high-pressure emulsifier.

EXTRASOME^® MC
This is a mixed-lipid powder that consists of high-purity hydrogenated soy phospholipids (COATSOME^® NC-61) and cholesterol (molar ratio 7:3).
EXTRASOME^® MQ10C
EXTRASOME MQ10C is homogenized with EXTRASOME^® MC and 10% of CoQ10. EXTRASOME^® MQ10C permits CoQ10 to be readily dispersed in an aqueous phase to produce cream and lotion formulations.

EXTRASOME^® FP Series

The EXTRASOME^® FP Series consist of dry powder empty liposome that can encapsulete active ingredients. Costomers can produce liposomal suspensions by adding solutions containing desired ingredients to the empty liposome formulations.

　Dry Powder Liposomes Containing Active Ingredients

EXTRASOME^® FS Series

The EXTRASOME^® FS Series consist of dry powder form in which active ingredients can be encapsulated. For example, a liposome powder contains an extract of Akebia is available in vials. The finished products are obtained by adding an aqueous buffer solution to the contents of the vials. The EXTRASOME^® FS Series are suitable for use as a liposomal formulation for encapsulating active ingredients such as CoQ10, Vitamin E, or vitamin C derivatives that are unstable in aqueous solution.
